What We BelieveOUR GOAL
The goal of New Covenant Fellowship is to minister unto the Lord through praise and worship, while being committed to minister to the needs of our community through various areas of service. It is our purpose to impact Poplar Bluff for Christ, and to train people to reach our world and establish the Kingdom of God Matthew 27:17-20
You are invited to celebrate the Sovereignty of God in worshiping with us at New Covenant Fellowship. Our worship is informal and Spirit driven. We love to sing. We love to hear the Word. And we love the inspired teachings and edification’s.
Our church is more than scheduled services. It is more than a building! Our church is an assembly of people who identify themselves as the children of God. We are a people with a common history and united around the Lordship of Jesus Christ. This makes us a body. We thus gather to worship, serve, and celebrate the Kingdom of God in unity of purpose. We share in our mutual joys and sufferings.
We are a live dynamic group of Christians; and we would love for you to join us in our Sunday morning praise and worship or our Wednesday evening Bible study. All are welcome!

OUR DOCTRINE
01. TRIUNE GOD
We believe in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
02. LIVING GOD
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, Gods only begotten Son, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, Born of the virgin Mary, was crucified, died, buried, resurrected, and ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is True God and True Man.
03. INFALLIBLE WORD
We believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
04. RESURRECTION OF LIFE
We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved and the eternal punishment of the lost.
05. SALVATION
We believe in the personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
06. SANCTIFICATION
We believe in sanctification through the word of God by the holy spirit and in personal holiness of heart and life.
07. HEALING
We believe in divine healing through faith in the name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the atonement.
08. GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT
We believe in water baptism, the baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the new birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit and the evidence of the fruit of the spirit. We believe that all are available to the believer.
09. CHRIST’S RETURN
We believe in the Christian’s hope: the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
10. THE GREAT COMMISSION
We believe in evangelization and missionary work in accordance with the great commission (Matt 28:19).
